The Sacred Spring in Nusa Penida, Bali




There are 8 famous springs in Bali, often called "Asta Gangga", which is on the cliff side and close to the sea. One of them is Guyangan Spring, located in Nusa Penida which is a source of water for the local community. This place is also used as a spiritual destination. Its place is sacred and has a unique history. The Guyangan spring is on the western side of Nusa Penida island, precisely in Guyangan Banjars, Batu Kandik Village. The distance is about 25 kilometers from the city center with a travel time of about 40 minutes. There are 700 more ladders made of iron, wood, and concrete, a route length of about 1 kilometer with a travel time of 30 minutes. This journey greatly spurred adrenaline because of its steep position, with huge waves hitting the cliffs around it, but when you get there you will see the exotic scenery, like the beautiful blue sea, surrounded by cliffs and springs that are clear.
