Sekumpul Waterfall: Enchanting Beauty In The Middle Of Forest


         Bali is famous for its beautiful beaches and also has many charming waterfall spots. Most of these waterfalls are in the region of Buleleng, North Bali. One of the most beautiful waterfalls in Bali is Sekumpul waterfall. It is located in Sekumpul Village, Sawan District, Buleleng regency. Buleleng Regency is the place you must visit if you want to see the most beautiful waterfall in Bali that is still natural.

          North Bali’ famous tourist destination is Lovina Beach. Near the beach there is a village called Sekumpul Village. In the midst of the lush green hilly area, there is Sekumpul Waterfall. The name of the Sekumpul itself means to collect because in this waterfall there is more than 1 waterfall and there are at least 7 waterfalls that are located far apart. Of the seven waterfalls that exist, only two waterfalls are located close to the main road. As for the other five, you need extra effort to reach the location.

        This waterfall is also known as the Gerombong Waterfall. Not only one waterfall that drains the water, but it has two waterfalls that flow with the swift. Because of its height, we can enjoy the waterfall from the distance before we enter into the waterfall area. There are two fallen waterfalls and the source of a waterfall covered by the green trees that cover the surface of the hill. The two adjacent waterfalls have a different character, the first waterfall has a single flowing waterfall like a waterfall that is often encountered and comes from a mountain spring. And the second has the higher height than the first waterfall and has a waterfall shape that dangles like a mosquito net and comes from a stream of a river. So during the rainy season, the first waterfalls remain in a clear state, while the second waterfall will turning brown and turbid.


          This waterfall is in the middle of a cool tropical nature, with a crystal clear river decorated with large rocks that create a very beautiful panorama. To reach the location, we do have to pass the path that is not easy. But the difficult path will pay off instantly before you even get to the destination. The natural panorama is breathtaking, with verdant trees adorning the slopes.
